Prof. Isaac Kofi Biney

Isaac Kofi Biney is a Professor of Adult Education and Community Development and the head of UG Learning Centres (UGLCs). He holds a PhD in Adult Education from the University of Ghana, and lectures at the Department of Adult Education and Human Resource Studies, School of Continuing and Distance Education, College of Education, University of Ghana, Legon. Isaac has published nearly 70 articles and book chapters in both national and international journals indexed in Scopus and Web of Science. He has also published three books and two more books (in press) to his credit. Isaac areas of research interest include Adult Education and Community Development, Lifelong Learning, Youth Entrepreneurship, Blended and Self-directed Learning. He researches in development oriented programme christened, Alternative Livelihoods Programmes, for corporate mining organisations in Ghana. He is a member of twelve professional bodies, including Adult Higher Education Alliance (AHEA), United States of America. Isaac is also an editorial board member of Community Development- Journal of the Community Development Society, based in the United States of America. He is an examiner/assessor to 10 Universities globally.
