DR. MARSHALL KALA is a lecturer and Head of Wa Learning Centre of the School of Continuing and Distance Education, College of Education, University of Ghana, Legon. He formerly worked as a Principal Researcher at the Institute of Statistical, Social and Economic Research (ISSER) of the University of Ghana. He holds a Doctorate degree in Development Studies and Master of Philosophy in Geography and Resource Development Dr. Kala has Bachelor degree in Geography and Resource Development with Philosophy, all from the University of Ghana, Legon. His main research interest includes Entrepreneurship, Human Development, Land Tenure, Urban Development, and Environmental Health. His PhD thesis focussed on Youth Entrepreneurship in the small scale mining sector in Northern and Brong Ahafo regions.
